At Spark Developments, we like a challenge – such as building a junior rally car in 12 hours for example.

This weekend, the challenge gets even bigger, as we aim to build a Mini Rally Challenge car in just six hours!

After the excitement which surrounded our ‘Road to Cadwell’ project with Paul Woodford and Julia Perry last November, we knew we had to come up with something equally exciting to go along with the announcement that Paul and Julia would be driving for the team again at Cadwell, this April.

So after a quick team meeting, where Jamie had to spend a few minutes staring at a wall and David needed to sit down, we decided we’d take Paul’s brand new Spark Developments Mini to The Motorist to display at their ‘Rally Legends’ day.

The only problem is, the car isn’t built yet. So we thought; why not show the crowds at the Motorist what the Spark Standard is all about, and build the car during the event?!

The challenge is set – join Spark Developments, Paul Woodford and M-Sport Ford World Rally Team Principal, Rich Millener for a day to remember this Saturday at The Motorist, near Leeds.

Entry to the rally car show is free, with gates open from 9am. There’s a WRC fan forum on the evening, too where you can join Paul Woodford and M-Sport’s Rich Millener for a Q&A about all things World Rallying!
