Spark Developments launches 2025 season at Autosport International
The 2025 motorsport season fired into action on-and-off the track, with Spark Developments making a big splash at the Autosport International Show.
The Spark Standard was clear to see at the NEC in Birmingham this January, with the team launching new partnerships, announcing sponsorship deals and revealing plans for a busy and exciting 2025 season on the race tracks and rally stages.
The Spark Developments stand commanded a distinct visual presence, sitting alongside the British Rally Championship, BTRDA Rallycross and Motorsport UK stands.
Not only did Spark’s bright colours stand out in the exhibition hall, David Simmons, Jamie McBain and other members of the team spent the weekend entertaining motorsport fans in the live arena, in a selection of Spark-built race and rally cars.
A key partnership for 2025 with Clubman Motorsport, supplier of safety and competition equipment for cars and crews, was announced with Rob Brook from the company joining the Spark team on the stand to showcase a wide selection of products.
Unveiled as part of this new partnership was a special build kit for the Mini Rally Challenge, providing potential competitors with a comprehensive and cost effective kit for building their own car for one of the UK’s most exciting new one-make rally championships.
In addition, Spark Developments announced a headline sponsorship deal with the BTRDA Clubman’s Rallycross Championship, with all competing cars carrying Spark Development windscreen branding for the 2025 season.
As Spark’s Jamie McBain explains, Spark is quickly establishing itself as a versatile motorsport service provider:
“As competitors ourselves, we are focused on adding value to everything we do. This is not just a business, it’s a way of life for us – we live an breathe motorsport for our customers. I think that’s clear to see from our stand, and t’s been great to launch the 2025 season with so many new and existing customers and partners.
I’ve been flat-out all weekend at the Autosport International, and we’ve got some very interesting projects to follow up when Dave and I get back to the workshop. Hopefully we’ll be in a position to announce some of those in the very near future!”
